Here ya go

1. Historical Fiction
The Rose Code by Kate Quinn or anything by Kate Quinn. I love her historical fiction
Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan if you like Narnia, this was interesting to read.
The Perfumist of Paris (The Jaipur Trilogy, #3) by Alka Joshi comes out at the end of March
Moloka'i (Moloka'i, #1) by Alan Brennert I loved this book, it was something else. This is a realistic look at what life was like after being diagnosed as a "leper" in the 1890's.

2. Green
Belladonna (Belladonna, #1) by Adalyn Grace on your tbr (and mine for that matter) green stems and leaves

Every Heart a Doorway (Wayward Children, #1) by Seanan McGuire its on your tbr, green and trees on cover. I really like this series, most recent one came out in January

I can always give you more if you want or need

Laura ☾ | 899 comments Alright here you go:

1. Historical Fiction

The Henna Artist (The Jaipur Trilogy, #1) by Alka Joshi - bleak but a good read

Notorious (Rebels of the Ton, #1) by Minerva Spencer - quite a fun historical romance and quite underrated!

2. Green

Tress of the Emerald Sea (The Cosmere) by Brandon Sanderson Tress of the Emerald Sea - this was a fun standalone set in the cosmere!

The Inheritance Games (The Inheritance Games, #1) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes - I quite enjoyed this

Others

Mysteries of Thorn Manor (Sorcery of Thorns, #1.5) by Margaret Rogerson - I loved this novella!

Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson - Odd but I loved it! Sassy demons are a weakness of mine

Mackenzie :) (book_girl_777) | 253 comments @Elena here are your picks!

Historical Fiction:

▪︎We are Not Free by Tracy Lee- This is about a camp in WW2. I love the cover of it and really want to read it myself!

▪︎I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys- I've Heard a lot of good things about this one and it's set in Romania

▪︎Curses and Smoke by vicky alvear Shecter- I can't express how much I loved this book. It's historicly accurate and the romance was beautiful!

▪︎Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman- this was pretty good and was about WW2.

Green Covers:

▪︎The gilded wolves by Roshani Chokshi- I've heard a lot about this one and it looks really good!

▪︎The Maze Runner by James Dashner- A classic in dystopian books! The movies are good as well!

If you need any more recommendations just let me know!

Elena Granger | 1807 comments @Mackenzie thanks for the picks :) Here are mine picks for you:

Historical Fiction:
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab - this book is just so good!
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid - Usually I don't pick the books like that, but for some reason I read it and it was also amazing.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller - historical, Ancient Greece setting, great narration, a very beautiful and sad story, it might make you cry.
The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson - something asian for a change, with all the cultural aspects, spirits, interesting turns.

Green:
The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams - just a cute romantic story if you want to switch to something light.
Ex-mas by Kate Brian - I know nothing about the book or the author, but seems like a cozy festive romance, always good to have one of those just in case.
The Body in the Woods (Point Last Seen, #1) by April Henry - I didn't read the book, but the description caught my attention, might be something interesting.
New World Rising (New World Series, #1) by Jennifer Wilson - I picked that one because of the cover, looks gorgeous.
Well Met (Well Met, #1) by Jen DeLuca - and one more romantic story, very cute, has some issues, but overall a nice satisfying romance.

Thanks Laura! I've actually read Henna Artist, I liked it but didn't want to continue with the series.

I want to read Tress so badly but I wont buy it on kindle and I didn't get the kickstarter so I have to wait for the physical release to the general public :(

If my hold for Mysteries at Thorn Manner comes in I will read that! Otherwise, Notorious sounds interesting for something different or maybe Vespertine

Laura ☾ | 899 comments Ah fair enough! Keep me posted on what you decide to read!

I actually ended up reading Belladonna last night and I enjoyed it! It was a bit cliché in parts but still engaging!
