It's time to mark our calendars for our first quarterly read-a-thon for 2023. It will take place Friday 10th at 12.01am and continue until Sunday 12th March at 11.59pm in your local time zone - 3 full days :)

We read 27,344 pages last quarterly read-a-thon, so for our March/Autumn readathon we'll aim for 28,000 pages.

Don't forget our Challenge Guidelines here

Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page numbers read will be tallied :)

If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals with a NEW POST will be Monday 13th AEST :)

Kerri_M | 597 comments Just had a conversation with my workmates, they asked what I was doing tomorrow. Told them a readathon - they thought it was for charity or something, but said no, it is just something I am doing for fun.

They looked at me like I was quite strange. As a 62 year old introvert, you would think I would know better than to share that kind of information!

Good thing I didn't tell them I do it quarterly ! :)

Haha I told my bf I had readathon this weekend and he was like, 'what do you have to do for that?' and my response was something like, 'mostly just ignore you for three days straight so stay outta my way.' XD

You could suggest he join in. You could have a lovely weekend snuggled up on the couch reading together (probably not his idea of a wonderful time?)

Now just have to see if he was listening! :)
