2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Interesting book; not poetry, but definitely a poetic style and one of the characters is a Native mystic (not sure she would define herself that way). I've spent a lot of time reading on the Indian tribes of the Northwest and upper Great Plains; this was set in the Southwest and Oklahoma, so it was a different perspective. I liked it more than I thought I would, but this is not genre I gravitate toward. (Not really into literary fiction in general.)
