Royce blackballs Liv from being hired by anyone else in the city. Should she have anticipated this? Was there anything she could have done to counter his attacks?

Royce's history is to blackball people who go against him, so she should expect something. I don't think she realized how far his blackballing would go. I'm not sure what she could do to counter his attacks at this point.

Of course, this was predictable and Liv being surprised by it was curious. It’s who he is. She should have immediately formed a plan when he fired her but she turned down help from Mack and Thea. She could have beat him at his own game.
