2023 Kentucky Book Club discussion

Hi all! March is here already, and that's just wild to me. Our book for March will be "The Bluegrass Conspiracy" by Sally Denton. If anyone out there has seen the "Cocaine Bear" movie already then you might already be a little bit familiar with the contents of the book. Yes, "Cocaine Bear" is based, somewhat, off a true story that Denton chronicles more in-depth in this book! Was there a bear that ate cocaine? Yes. Did it go on a murderous rampage like in the movie No. But, the story of how the bear did come to eat that cocaine is directly tied to the actions of a former Lexington narcotics officer turned drug smuggler. Excited to dive into this book with y'all.
