How did y'all feel about the ending?

I honestly felt like it was an okay ending, (Tris and Uriah dying was definitely super hard to read), and it added a lot more humanity to the book.
Death is unfair. I mean, you can see it in how many innocents are simply killed by gun shootings or war or a simple fight.
(I still am sad though. My eyes almost made two little waterfalls.)

I thought it was great. It hit hard but really made me think.

I cried for so long but I liked that it made the book realistic and not just happily ever after every time. I was depressed for a couple of days tho

Tris and Uriah death made me cry for days I'm still not over it 😭💔

I think the ending was a great twist! It really shows that the protagonist doesn't always win and that there isn't always a happily ever after. Although it's very sad, I think it was one of the best endings for Tris because she is finally at peace from her guilt, and everything that she needs to overcome is already done and over with. With this, the reader knows that she already fulfilled her purpose and that she is ready to reunite with her deceased family.

I cried for like 5 minutes then questioned my life for like 2 Days I LOVE THIS BOOK

I remember how she wanted to die in insurgent, she felt like she will be at peace once reunited with her parents, but by being so close to death, she wanted to live , she wanted to explore, she wanted moments with tobias where there was no war, no threat. I wanted to see that arc. Also the void that tobias will always feel:(
Hate when books have such tragic deaths.
