Promoting and Socialising with authors discussion

I everyone. I've been busy since I last emailed all of you. It's been a while. Writing intrigues me. There are so many ways to get started on writing anything. My focus has been widening the usual way I approach writing and I have found it enormously helpful. Here is what I've been up to. I've been making lists of words. Lists about trees, lists about the kitchen, lists about food. Then several times a week I do no other writing but wild writing. I select five words in each group, write as fast as I can, and see what appears on the page. Wow! What a fabulous exercise. Whoever would have thought I could have written some of the pieces I did.
