Oh ... My Nerves! No Exit is the best thriller I've read in a very long time! Not only did it keep my interest, it played havoc with my nerves! Taylor Adams, I applaud you!
No Exit is the thriller that got me back into reading! It kept my attention from cover to cover, finished it within 2 days. Taylor Adams does a very good job keeping you guessing. It made my heart race at times and it even made me sweat a little. Enjoy everyone!
I really enjoyed this book! I read so many thrillers, I did guess some of it, but it was really a great book.
Wow! Loved! I was sweating, my heart racing, and couldnāt break away from this one! I really enjoyed Taylor Adams writing! 5/5āļø Rushed over to watch the movie with right after finishing and I have to say⦠the book is so much better than the movie! Elements of the movie were great, kept you on the edge your seat, but just not the same thrill from the book!
Happy Reading Yall ā„ļø
Iām so sorry Iām so late on opening this discussion for No Exit. My father had been very sick and he very recently passed away. No Exit seems intriguing to me with a girl seeing a child in a strangerās locked van! The only thing you can do is call for help, but with a blizzard going on, there is no cell phone reception. She is trapped at as rest stop and not knowing who she can trust
I hope this is as good as I have hoped.
Happy reading!
Kelly
Ok so just finished this book (like I said earlier, read it in one day - definitely not an easy book to put down!) and I absolutely loved it! Iāll admit, a few of the twists felt predictable and the big crescendo felt quite far-fetched for me, however I did tear up in the last 2 chapters. Very happy to have spent my Easter Monday with this book and would happily read other titles by Taylor Adams.
I finished. It kept my attention. I liked the main character Darby. I liked her spunk and conviction to keep going. Admittedly some of her feats were a bit far fetched but it still made for a good story. The ending had me. I mostly happy the way it ended.
Loved this book! New author for me. I hear itās a Hulu movie. Might check it out, they donāt usually hold up.
Iām about 20% through the ebook. Itās a great thriller but is stressing me out - not sure if that means I need to binge read today until itās over or if I should read it in small doses!
I really liked this book with never ending surprises and excitement. Darby realizing she was scheming to save Jay with,...oops the actual kidnapper! They're safe, they're not safe! How each of the 3 people involved in the kidnapping are uncovered over several chapters. The violence is rough but not extreme. How many various items are used as weapons. How Darby bravery becomes stronger and stronger. Ripping her finger off in the door hinge, OUCH!!!I also loved the ending where it seems Darby died. Quote: "They found her frozen body" Actually her freezing of her body probably saved her life. The metabolism slows and u go into shock which preserves vital organs. Then it turns out they are all at the mother's, Maya's, grave and Darby is collecting the grave stone pattern on the rice paper. She survived!!!
Now i'm going to have to see the movie on HULU!
The trailer looks fantastic!
