Play Book Tag discussion

One of my personal challenges this year is to read a short story collection that matches our tag every month.

Eclectic collection of short stories, with the only "theme" being British author.

The editor has been collecting and publishing British short stories since 2011. In his foreword he describes the shortage of literary magazines publishing the short story genre in the UK, and a resulting shortage of short stories.

I love short stories, so this was worth my time just to support the art form.

The quality represented in this collection was all over the board. Some were excellent, most pretty good and a few that weren't that strong.

What a great idea for a challenge! Not sure I'd want to commit for every month, but I am intrigued. I think I have something for Japan.
