I really didn't have many suspects that I thought were behind the murders. I was more or less along for the ride with this one. But I'm glad to see Bree and Matt's relationship moving forward.
This was the best book in the series for me so far. I enjoyed the mystery and was able to guess the culprit but not the motive. The developments in Matt and Bree's romance were a highlight.
Same for me, Lauren! I liked revisiting what happened that night Bree’s parents died and seeing her release those repressed memories. I always suspected that Jake was evil beyond his property lines so confirming that he was truly an awful man was helpful.
I agree about the mystery that Elias was the most obvious suspect but didn’t seem to fit the profile. That’s what made this hard.
