Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) What is everyone reading for March?

message 2: by Kelly (new)

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I have read Maame by Jessica George for a book about another culture and Code Name Sapphire by Pam Jenoff for a gook set in World War II. I am currently reading The Prettiest Star by Carter Sickels for an LGBTQ+ book.

Christina Currently listening to Killers of a Certain Age for my 65+ book. As well as still working on the paperbacks of The Nerd Who Loved Me and Bleachy Haired Honky Bitch that I’ve started and just never finished. 😂

message 4: by Sara (new)

Sara Kreps I'm reading a skeleton in the family for book recommended by favorite author. not exactly a favorite author, but it has a quote from Charlaine Harris on the front cover.

Sara Kreps a skeleton in the family was silly but good. can't wait to read the next in the series. now I'm reading murder at an Irish wedding for a culture other than my own (and in honor of St Patty's Day).

Christina For the life of me I cannot decide on a book about a Polarizing Issue….anybody have a recommendation??

message 10: by Kelly (new)

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I would recommend practically anything by Jodi Picoult. I would suggest Small Great Things. Also My Sister's Keeper, Mad Honey, A Spark of LightChristina wrote: "For the life of me I cannot decide on a book about a Polarizing Issue….anybody have a recommendation??"

My goal is to sweep the board. Anyone have any recs for the food category?

message 13: by Sara (new)

Sara Kreps there are a lot of cozy mysteries featuring food. I'm planning on reading arsenic and adobo for that

Christina I read The Recipe Box by Viola Shipman. It’s an audiobook on Libby if you like to listen.
