Vincent walked into the diner, sighing. He had a long day at school and wanted to take a break from all the drama going on around him. He sat at a lone table and took out a book.

Masayoshi sat in a booth where smoking was allowed with a cigarette in his mouth.

Masayoshi took the cigarette out of his mouth then sighed.

Vincent looked over at Masayoshi, sighing. Why don't I try making some friends first? He got up, and walked over to Masayoshi, smiling. "Hey! I'm Vincent, wanna be friends?" His grin grew wider.

Vincent frowned. "I said, I'm Vincent. I go to Iris Academy, what about you?" He smiled again.

Masayoshi put his cigarette in a ashtray before saying, "masayoshi"

"Oh. Nice to meet you!" Vincent sat down at the table Masayoshi was at, across from him. "So, uh...I'm new to Iris Academy, is there anything I should know first?"

Masayoshi pulled a small box that had the label "candy cigarettes out before saying, "i have a older brother also try to find a group"

"Okay!" Vincent smiled. It was strange for a person to smile this much, but its normal for Vincent.

Masayoshi put the candy cigarette in his mouth as a red mist came from it.

"SO uhm.. Whos your brother?" He said excitedly.

Masayoshi took the candy cigarette out of his mouth and said, "his name is karma"

"Karma is such a unique name," Vincent nodded.

"to some people it is"

"Well, uhm...I'm bored." Vincent sighed.

Masayoshi finished his candy cigarette then said, "that's because you're new here"

"Well, yes, but I also want to make a literature club, and I realised how hard that really will be." Vincent explained.

Masayoshi sighed, "have you signed the form to make the club yet?"

"No...I just moved here yesterday-" Vincent sighed. "I don't even know what the school looks like yet, I've only seen pictures but I don't know if I can trust them."

Masayoshi shrugged then said, "you'll get used to it"

"Ah, okay." Vincent relaxed a bit. "So, what brings you here to the diner?" He glanced around, seeing if anybody was listening to their conversation.

Masayoshi put another candy cigarette in his mouth before saying, "i needed a break from my brother"

"Oh. Okay." Vincent nods. He looks at the candy cigarettes for a while. "May I have one?" He asks, not taking his eyes off of them.

"sure but chances are it might burn your throat"

"I'll be fine. I had them as a kid." He smiled, taking one. He put it in his mouth. He made a weird face, but then it reverted back to normal.

a red mist came from masayoshi's candy cigarette.

"so why exactly did you come here for?"

"Eh. I mean, I needed some time away from my friends." Vincent shrugged.

"hm sounds about right" Masayoshi blew a red mist out.

"Yeah.." Vincent agreed. "They can be a pain sometimes."

"but then again things wouldn't be fun without them"

"Yeah, exactly." Vincent looked at Masayoshi. "It's like you know exactly what I'm thinking." He laughed a little. "What a silly thought."

Masayoshi finished his candy cigarette. "i should probably head off my brother is probably pumicing right now"

"Ah, okay. See you in school." Vincent waved.

Masayoshi walked off.
