Elle Hill (Sasha’s version) | 3 comments Hello!
So being the depressed person I am, I’m really into sad romance novels. Anything with major mental conflicts is wonderful. Any recommendations are wonderful!!

Aniyue Miller | 10 comments For clarity, do you want a happy ending or a sad ending?

Deb | 3 comments I always want a happy ending. I've quit reading any book I know with a sad ending. For instance, of all the Nicholas Sparks books I've read someone always dies in the end. So I've marked him off my author list. I really liked his writing so why does he feel the need to end the book with death?

Elle Hill (Sasha’s version) | 3 comments I’m not a stickler for either but I usually end up reading ones with sad or bittersweet endings

Aniyue Miller | 10 comments "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens has a open ending and some great conflict throughout.
If you have never read or heard or seen "Othello" by Shakespeare I would recommend it.
I'm not sure what your spice level it, but a very spicy and intriguing series is Emily McIntire "Never After" series. Lots of mental stuff, but they do have happy endings. (At least "Hooked" did.
The actual book "Phantom of the Opera" is very interesting and might also be something you would like.
"Beloved" by Toni Morrison is a superb story with lots of mental concepts.
Hope this helps a little!
