Buddy reads (Book dragon) discussion

Hello everyone,
as the title suggest I have a shelf for books I would like to buddy read, if something catches your eyes on it or my wishlist, dm or answer here.

If you also have a 'buddy shelf' post it please. ;-)

hey i'm starting priory of the orange tree this month if you wanted to do a buddy read! i'm behind since i haven't started yet but I'm going to try and break it into parts so i'm reading 1 part per month and hopefully that will get me to finally finish this book haha

I would love to. Yes it's a big book doing it in parts will be probably helpfull. do you want to dm or a thread for the buddy read? When do you want to start?

we can do a thread under current buddy reads! and you can pick a start date that you're comfortable with :) I don't really have anything going on haha so i have quite a bit of free time

how about tomorrow? I can do that. how do you want to break down the 803 pages. :-)

yeah tomorrow is good! it looks like the book is split into 6 parts, with part 1 being the longest at 250 pages, so maybe we could have Part 1 finished by April 7? I made a rough estimate of the breakup for each part based on how many pages there are

Part 1: March 14- April 7 (250 pages)
Part 2: April 8- April 30 (154 pages)
Part 3: May 1- May 20 (100 pages)
Part 4: May 21- June 10 (116 pages)
Part 5: June 11- June 25 (94 pages)
Part 6: June 26- July 8 (90 pages)

I wanted to say that it is taking a bit slow, but so people could join us and catch up and we'd have time for other books too, so I 'm down with it. Could you post it into the thread?

yeah of course, i'll do that right now! I wanted to give basically a month for each part so we don't have to rush through it and like you said we will also have time to read other things as well :)
