. lydia :: a very opinionated young lady, very assertive. Is hella feminist
. sen :: the kid of a foreign diplomat that's been in the states for a while. not very deeply immersed in the culture, but still willing to assimilate
. ashley s :: the one that everyone thinks is sleeping around but is actually the most innocent thing ever. like, barely had the talk with her parents
. samuel :: owns a lucratively dirty business dealing in drugs and...other things. in other words, a pimp. But, not the abusive kind because then the girls don't feel the need to make as much money, y'know? kinda dark, but not overly so.
. holland :: not quite the queen, but has the feel of it. isn't very confident, though, and thus buries a lot of her insecurity in a grave of sarcasm and biting remarks.
. hugh :: a teacher, history. gets easily excited by the subject he teaches, and is practically a teenager himself in terms of attitude. relates with his students, and is very approachable. also easily flustered and the single part of a two year old that he often brags about.
. antonia :: cellist with a few emotional problems--not to mention not totally comfortable in her skin and may be considering a sex change operation in the near future.
. sam :: young preacher that is looking to get away from the possible gang ties his family may or may not have.
. ashley m :: a recently relocated ballerina and actress. Is more interested in dancing than anything else, doesn't much going on in her history aside from a crippled older sister that's the inspiration for her dancing
. jack :: slick con man that has moved to escape pursuit.
. eva :: matriarch of a slowly dying family. Has recently announced that she'd be divorcing her husband and having her female lover move into the house with her. has a sick fascination/way of showing how much she loves her children but holds power over them.

Maybe one of my two girls (depending on how old you're making her) could be friend with Lydia? Because I know I'm going to make at least one of them kind of quiet but a huge feminist and kind of blows up when people say she can't do things because she's a girl or whatever
