Madeline Jager, one of the county administrators, seemed particularly eager to have Bree resign because of the deep fake pornographic pictures and videos. Why was she so vigilant in her attempt to get rid of Bree?

I couldn't stand this woman. She seemed power hungry. I think she wanted to make a name for herself by taking down the Sheriff.

I actually suspected her. I thought maybe she was Dylan's girlfriend.

Marge hits the nail on the head when she says Jager enjoys wielding her power and authority over others. She's another character who needs to get her comeuppance - perhaps in a future book.

@Robin - She didn't get on my radar in that way, but you are right that her determination to have Bree removed was suspicious.

This is a character that needs knocked down a few pegs by Bree. I hope we see that in future books.
