What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Vague I know - this isn't a book I've actually read but a book I read the blurb/ description of recently, knew I wanted to read, but never actually added to my pile!

It's about a small group of friends, maybe four to six of them. They've been friends since childhood, school or uni - basically a time when they used to plan out/ dream the rest of their lives together in that optimistic 'we have our whole lives ahead of us' kind of way.

The main thrust of the plot is that whilst some, maybe most of them haven't achieved those dreams, one or two of them actually have (say, one of them actually has become a famous actor or something like that). And from what I can recall the novel is about those tensions.

I will likely have stumbled across this through searching for similar titles to, say, Expectation by Anna Hope, or contemporary female authors along the lines of Caroline O'Donoghue, Sally Rooney, etc. I suspect, therefore, that it's recent-ish - last ten years or so - but I actually don't know....
