Casey (female_unix) | 3 comments Female author. A woman lives alone on a ranch in a remote location, and one day, her animals start turning up murdered. The first sentence is comparing "another dead sheep" she finds on her property to a pie or some other food. I think the title and cover had something to do with the sky or birds (I might be misremembering this part.)
I don't know when it was published, but it was popular with book YouTubers in 2017-2019 or so, and I first saw it on Jen Campbell's channel. I've searched her channel for so long and can't find the video where she talks about it.
