I finished 2 books....both where good but my favorite of the two is Red Queen by Juan Gómez-Jurado. I listened to the audio book. It was fantastic. Working on a full review.

Red Queen by Juan Gómez-Jurado

Christine Mathieu | 319 comments I'm reading a German children's book by Ruth Hoffmann from 1953, based on the adventures and experiences of her American niece. It's a trilogy and I doubt it's listed on Goodreads. The character's nick name is Poosie.
I've read these books when I was 10 years old and have reread them numerous times ever since.

As Poosie and her family (her father was Ruth Hoffmann's brother who refused to get divorced from his Jewish wife and rather immigrated with her and their 3 daughters to the US) lived in Silver Spring near Washington, D. C., I thought maybe I can find a place or two mentioned in the trilogy that we could visit.
We'll drive to D. C. in 6 days. :)
