Of Butterflies & Books I know the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. However, I do not wish to get help, in fact, I WANT MORE!!! I am obsessed with strong, stubborn, but oh so loving men with Scottish accents. IF YOU AGREE WITH ME, PLEASE REPLY.

Of Butterflies & Books Probably a dumb question, but how excited are you for Outlander returning in April!

Outlander is very good. I love the chasting choices. Sam Heughan is perfect for Jamie. That show will definitely have you loving Highlanders!

Of Butterflies & Books What scenario is most appealing to you when it comes to character dynamics in these books? For example, do you like a hint of time travel with your romance? Do you like a male as the main character or a female?

Netanella | 195 comments I really, really like the Karen Marie Moning Highlander series, which has time travel in it.

For MC leads, I enjoy a book that gives the point of view perspective of both the female and male lead characters. Most often, but not always, the book is written entirely from the female perspective, and sometimes with the male lead perspective taking a minor role. I like to hear the male POV of the story, but this is pretty rare, I've found.

Of Butterflies & Books Me too. I like to write in third-person and I feel like the males never get any of the credit when their about 50% of the reason we're reading the book most of the time. I want to try writing where the male is the central character.

Tammy | 395 comments Sadly, I haven't watched Outlander yet.

My favorite highlanders are Julie Garwood's, but I do think KMM is good too

Anyone read Arnette Lamb? It's been a while since I read her but I remember liking her books. I need to get her books again and reread them.
