This doesn't tend to be my typical genre that I like to read, but it does look quite serious and somehow I just can't resist. So I'll be taking this journey with you Ana!
I'm done with it and I thought it was great! It definitely deserved the award. The first part of the book was hard to understand for me. I even went to SparkNotes a few times. Haha. But in the last few chapters, it's just so intense and I feel so bad for Sethe, Beloved and Denver, even Paul D. Oh, Beloved.

The story is about a slave, Sethe, and her dead baby whose tombstone just says "Beloved".
It won the Pulitzer Prize in 1988.
I've never read this author before and I expect to be more educated after reading this because it looks like a pretty serious book.
