World Territories Spell Out
Start Date to Completion

It's time to spell the world's territories!!

Territories (or Dependent Areas) are governed by a sovereign state but are not part of the motherland or mainland. They often have a certain degree of autonomy represented by a local government, but they do not possess full political independence or sovereignty as a state. For various reasons many dependencies have democratically elected to maintain their territorial status, and rejected independence.

FYI: It was hard to decide whether to list the territories by the country that owns them or by location. I went with location and have them divided by continents with the country that owns them in parenthesis.
We will be spelling out ONLY the territory and NOT the owned country in parentheses.

IMPORTANT: CHOOSE AN OPTION: Due to the repetitive nature of the word "island(s)" and the difficulty of it's letters, I have given you two options for the challenge.
Option One: Spell all territory names including the word ISLAND(S)
Option Two: Spell all territory names WITHOUT the word ISLAND(S)

You can use any of the following to complete a letter:
1. First letter of the Book's title (Use or Ignore A, An or The)
2. First letter of the Author's first or last name
3. First letter of the Series title
4. First letter of a Main Character's first or last name

For letters Q, X, Y and Z, you may use a book in which the letter is found anywhere in the title, series, author or MC name.

Challenge Rules: All forms of books are accepted as long as they are 100 pages or more. When posting updates of completed books, please include a link to the title and author’s name, along with the date you finished reading the book. When you have finished the challenge, please copy and paste your entire challenge and re-post in a new message, letting us know it is completed.
