**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊
I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team X, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉
I am 54 and Have MS and will be having twice weekly therapy, Central US. I am a fast reader but also have other Commitments. Prefer not to Captain but I can. Reading Rainbow Lovers is my team name Suggestion.I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If some see what number we need to make a Decision on find making them early help the race run smoother.
I'm Jill from New York, I read absolutely anything and am also a very fast reader. I'm not interested in being captain either, guess it's between Michaele and Eugenia now. The last time I did this it was helpful that we went through all the challenges and made our choices on those that can be done ahead of time.As for a name I suggest something to go along with the theme "Your Pace or Mine." Michaele and were on 4 Fast TARTs last time or maybe Reading Perambulators? Stop and Smell the Books? As always I'm okay with whatever the majority decides. Excited to get started!!
I'm Michaele (pronounced like Michael) I live in Utah, so MST.I have a harder time getting online nowadays, but I should be able to check in once a day at least, but really don't have time to captain since again I have very limited time online.
I'd be happy with any of the names Jill and Roger suggested. Reading Perambulators is fun.
Last one to check in gets to captain? I’ll try my best, but I’ve never captained this challenge. I’m Eugenia and I’m 54, too! My birthday was yesterday 😉
I’m in Alaska, loving all the sunlight that’s quickly melting the feet of snow.
I read just about anything, but am averse to babies on the cover 😂. That being said, I have a 13 yo & I teach middle school Spanish.

@Jill -- 3 also had Charlie Cochet, which would be my preference and lily Morton which is better than Sarina bowen for me! Another tie is Wisconsin or Nevada, I think Wisconsin has a wider range of book tropes to pick from!
For #95, what do you all think has the most books tagged, DOG or WOLF?for #82: Magic Emporium is my choice
Unless anyone has any objections, I'm going to submit STOP AND SMELL THE PAGES for our team name.

Stop and Smell the Books, I think has better ring. I'll leave it to Roger and Michaele for the final vote.

# 82 Magic Emporeum
#95 Wolf, I think has more because werewolfs are included and there's a plethora of tags.#93 Wisconsin it is then.
Task 1 - 0. Each teammate reads a book initially published in a Spring Month - March, April, May or June, of any year. Teams decide which month. No pass for this task.I don’t know about you all, but I am so over winter this year! We are a week into April already and my daffodils have not even bloomed yet and we still have snow on the ground… 😒 So for your first task, as a team select a Spring Month - March, April, May or June. Each teammate then reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. If there is a date at the top of the editions page - USE IT! Otherwise, I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month and the initial publication date in your completion posts.

📚Pages: 159 Kindle Edition
📚How book qualified: First published in March
📚Date Completed: 04/09/2023
📚Rating/Review: ⭐⭐⭐College romance books can be hit or miss for me, but I enjoyed Jackson and Mia's story. This was short but it packed a lot of feels in less than 200 pages.
