Would you recommend this book? This was a "Read with Jenna" pick (though I did not know that at the time I picked it up). I would definitely recommend it! It was so unique and was a wild, thought-provoking ride from start to finish. So good!

I would recommend it if you like politics/ current events. They're packed into this book. I loved it. I enjoyed the characters, but months after reading this book, it's the politics and the messaging of the book I remember.

Would you recommend this book? Absolutely. I'd recommend anything and everything by Kanae Minato. The holiday at the heart of the book, which is celebrated in the book, and upon which the tale draws its strength is Obun, the Japanese holiday for reverence for the dead.
