My Current read is, Big Juicy lips the sequel to Double Dippin' by Allison Hobbs.
The novel is dedicated to Kapri. That's the name of the Wife of Shane, the twin that died in part 1. Interesting.

Natalie, hopefully there will be a lot more books on the site to blog about. I have a lot to say. LOL
My current read this month is The Shining by Stephen King. I needed a change of pace because urban lit is always the same kind of stuff. I'm starting a book club next week and we will be right back to the urban lit.

You have GOT to tell me if the sequel is worth reading.

Yes, I'm trying to get a lot of reading in and stay on top of the new new, I fell off for a while I'm trying to get back because it really is a hobby & a time for me to just 'chill' whenever I read.

That was a trippy movie, I never read the book. Make sure you invite me to your new group!

@Kellee, I will for sure. I'm about 80 pages in. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it's actually getting my attention.
I'm just curious to see if we'll get to hear about Kapri and Janelle, and how things went with her pregnancy.

See this is bad because I read that book about 2 months ago I think and I know somebody died other than the momma but I can't remember who or why or whatever. I would have to read the book again before reading the sequel and I didn't even like the book. You gotta read Sinlge Mama Drama by Kayla Perrin. It wasn't all hood like we like, but I LOVED it and there is a sequel out!!
Let me know how Section 8 is, I've heard mixed reviews. I finished Big Juicy Lips and it was a trip, I'll try and get my review out today. I give it a 3-3.5.
I finished Big Juicy Lips, you can see my review here

I finished Stripping Asjiah, I give it 4 stars. Very easy quick read. I'll post my review later.
Now I'm on to the Bitch series by Deja King. While I wait for The Cartel 2 to arrive. sigh

Is it really based outta Compton?? I would like to read that. It's funny because none of the street lit rarely ever mention Los Angeles or LA citites.
