Thanks, Ila! It's criminal I haven't got round to reading it yet. There isn't one among my friends/following who hasn't rated it highly.

oh, and if you're looking for suggestions I can recommend Stones of Aran: Pilgrimage

Thanks for the recommendation, Darren! It's a subject which interests me in varying degrees, at various times. The list serves as motivation.
