Planning on reading Sunshine with Katrisa in mid-April.

I started yesterday. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post - my daughter and her BF came over for dinner. I am listening to the book. I am at about 20%. The audio just shows chapters by first line so I don't think that's very helpful spoiler-wise, unless that's how you are also seeing chapters.
(view spoiler)[ So far I like the world that has been created - where there is magic but it's not a big part of the world. I am looking forward to learning more about what Sunshine is able to do and also what is the backstory for her new vampire "friend". I am at the part now where they made their journey from the place where they were being kept and Sunshine just woke up feeling strange. I wonder if she will be a vampire who can walk in the daylight?>/spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

I may have to breakdown and find the audiobook. I have a thick paperback.

I am at 36%in the audio book now. The quote from the chapter heading is "One of these ways is that they have no gravity in this..." I am not sure if that is helpful or not, lol.
(view spoiler)[ So I forget what the supernatural cops are called, but Sunshine just met with them and found out that many of them are part demon or otherwise others. That made me laugh because of course they are! I don't know if Sunshine is becoming some kind of hybrid human/vampire? She has that wound that won't close. I am curious about Constantine. I am looking forward to seeing the vampires more! (hide spoiler)]

I'm 8% in. I will do more tonight. (view spoiler)[It was interesting hearing all about the vampires and medicine to help the weirs as she called them. That demons can have children. That whole section, I found fascinating. She is now kidnapped with another who is a vampire. (hide spoiler)]

I really enjoy the world building in this book too.

I'm 34% in and am starting to really like the book.

I am at 50% now. (view spoiler)[ I am just about to go on a walk but wanted to stop by with some thoughts - I hadn't been thinking to much about Mel - but they are starting to leave hints that there might be something weird there - beyond the fact that their relationship is kinda off.
And Constantine has healed the cut in her breast. We'll have to see how that ends up.

I feel like this book wants to be a series. The build up feels more like it's a first book and not like I am 75% done with it - you know what I mean? I am enjoying the world and story enough that I would continue it. (hide spoiler)]

I enjoyed the book but I stick by my idea that I would have liked this to be a series. I liked the way the author wove in the magic and vampires and I would like to see more.

I also thought Con would become more than a friend but the way it was ended left it to where it could easily be picked up as a series. I liked Pat and howhe turned blue for her and Yolanda was amazing. (hide spoiler)]
