I think I'll aim for 10. The question is whether I tackle the "currently reading" list first or DNF (did not finish) some of those and focus on 10 that will bring me joy!
I have 27 books on my "currently reading" list in Goodreads, and a ridiculous number of TBR (to be read). In reality, there are probably more. I never used to DNF anything, but life is too short! One I'll probably DNF is Harry's memoir, Spare. I borrowed the ebook through the public library and my loan expired before I read much more than a chapter or two. It's not terribly well written and feels overly personal sometimes. I'm a little curious about the royals, but ultimately don't care that much!
My first thoughts on the 10 are learning 2 things, looking for 2 things that change the way I think, and definitely some that are just "fun."

My goal for the summer is 8 books. I am hoping to get about 2 done a month(May-August)!
I am also hoping to make about half of them different from the typical biographies that I always read. I have been making a list of some classics that I have never read, so I am hoping to dive into more of those.

There are five books I want to finish by the end of June, one of them as an audiobook. This could go into July, but when I finish them, I want to take a break from reading for a few months to get back into working on my own writing project. They are...The Survivor: Bill Clinton in the White House by John F. Harris
Bedsit Disco Queen by Tracey Thorn (Everything but the Girl)
Playing Through the Whistle (Libby) by S.L. Price
A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami
The Captain & Me (Thurman Munson) by Ron Blomberg

I'm tickled to share that I read Writers & Lovers by Lily King in one sitting yesterday. It's been ages since I've done that! Needless today, this story is well-written and hard to put down.
I also recently finished The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs on audiobook during a long car ride, so I'm happy to be building some momentum this summer.
