What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

It's technically a trilogy but all that I remember is from the final book unfortunately. I read it originally in 2014-2015. I have looked for it multiple times over the years, even going through every book associated with the word "orphan" in the online library catalogue from the library I think I borrowed it from, however, I wasn't able to find it, which concerns me (maybe they tossed the books though? It was a small library). I know there were three sibling orphans who were adopted by a sort of "big bad" evil man. At some point, (view spoiler)[one of the siblings dies, but ends up surviving due to having their brain transplanted into a teddy bear. The teddy bear drives a car at one point, and may have been the one to push the evil man into a big hole, which is the conclusion of the trilogy. (hide spoiler)] I know I don't remember much, but these details are so specific that I feel like it should be enough to identify the book with, if only I could find it.

I know this book is NOT A Series of Unfortunate Events or The Mysterious Benedict Society.

This sounds like the Unlikely Exploits series by Philip Ardagh. The first book is The Fall of Fergal: The First Unlikely Exploit.
