Pretty sure one of the names of the characters was Louisa Frye. Not sure if I spelled that right... I also remember that another character may have been named Francine or Elaine? I read this book around 2011. There's a group of around four girls, I believe, who live in a futuristic world where gas is, like, $80 a gallon. They want to find their parents. They find them at the end of the book, and their parents are super shocked that their kids found them. I honestly cannot remember the name of this book, and it has been driving me crazy for years.

Is this the one where the US blames Canada for invading and everyone is so high tech that the girls have to learn how to write with pencils when their tablets/computers/devices are taken away after they’re taken to some sort of training school?
Could it be the Tomorrow Girls series by Eva Gray? The girls' names are Louisa, Rosie, Evelyn, and Maddie, according to the blurb of the second book.
