When Bree and Matt attempt to notify Jasper LaForge of his brother’s murder, they’re not only met with hostility but someone shooting at them from inside the house. They also discover guns, reptiles (dead & alive) and a teenager inside the home. Given Spencer’s crime scene, did Jasper zoom to the top of your suspect list or were you still waiting for more information?

I was waiting for more information. Yes, Jasper was hostile toward Bree and Matt, but that could be explained by the fact that he had drugs and unregistered guns in his home. He was surprised when Ricky started shooting from inside the home. Since he and Spencer were brothers, I wasn't surprised that they both had interest in rare/exotic animals, just like their father.

He was on my suspect list, but near the bottom.

I didn't know what to make of this hostility. I put Jasper on my list, but I thought that something more was going on with him. I didn't know what to expect.

I put him on the list, too, but he was right on the edge. I needed more info and knew he might drop off as I wasn’t that committed just from this scene.

I was still convinced the killer was a woman, so Jasper did not make it to the top of my list.

Also, the killer was obviously someone who felt wronged by Spencer and I didn't get that feeling from Jasper. Jasper also seemed more like someone to use his fists rather than plastic wrap to kill...
