Bree once regarded Nick West as a responsible reporter but lately he seems to have changed his methods. Do you think she still holds him in the same regard or is her opinion of him evolving? Who do you think is now responsible for leaking information to him?

She is upset that Nick has someone feeding him confidential information about the cases that have come through lately. Therefore, Nick knows what questions to ask to put her on the spot.

I can't figure out who would be feeding Nick information. I don't think it is Matt, Todd, or Marge. I can't think of anyone else on her staff other than the rookie, Juarez. I am wondering if it is someone on the Medical Examiner's team.

I don't think she trusts Nick as much as she did in the beginning. He has an informant. I don't think it is anyone on the police force, my feeling is it is Madeline Jagger or one of the other politician's who hold the purse strings.

Nick used to play it responsibly and Bree used to reward him for that. I think it’s Madeline Jager who’s leaking information. She wants Bree gone for some reason. Nick sort of set Bree up in slimy ways so either he’s not who we thought he was or he’s lost his way. Bree will adjust her behavior towards him accordingly and he’s got to earn his way back, if he can.

Yes, this seems to be changing.
Nick is becoming more manipulative, and Bree is reacting accordingly.

Madeline Jager is vicious. I love the Cruella de Ville comparison, lol!
