I love recommending this book to as many people as I can so let me know what you think and if any particular parts of the book resonate with you!

Some of these principles have been a part of my own self practice but it's never a bad idea to have them spelled out in detail. But the fourth agreement really gave me new light. I never truly understood the idea of 'doing the best you can.' To me, it meant that I had to make 100% effort. Sometimes I can only give 50% or 30% and if I do that, then it means I'm doing the best I can. This reminds me of the addiction-recovery process where you have to accept that if you relapse, that it's ok - you accept that you lapsed, and you will try again!

Yeah yes yes!! This book has changed people’s lives! I’ve seen it 😀 This book has something special in it and I love it 🥰🥰

As I said in my review of it, I loaned it or recommended it to guys I counseled in jail or prison who said they had no code of ethics to live by. It's biggest asset I've found is it's simplicity so that they are easy to recall, especially under duress in situations. I like the idea of "no excuses." That makes a person think twice about a lot of decisions or speech beforehand so it helps change behavior.
