Deepak Joshi | 2 comments Why every romance novel in India has to look like a fat Valentine's day card with hearts, rainbow and roses? Moreover, why characters have names like Aayan, Ahana, Aarav, Anaya? I have never met any of them in my entire life! Lastly, why titles seem like random quotes from Colleen Hoover's books like, 'if i haven't met you, you and me forever, we both for lifetime'?

Why romance is justified with materialistic stuff like flowers, gifts and chocolates? In villages, couples run a successful relationship over calls for years without meeting each other. Despite being in the adjacent village, they have to be in a long distance relationship and get to see each other in fairs and temple events only. Isn't that love?

Anyway, I recently published my first book which has some flakes of romance and a lot of unwanted events.
My book Unwanted 24: Indian fiction is seeking honest reviews. I would be happy to see your thoughts on the query and on my work also. Thanks.

A Vikram (arvikram) | 13 comments Hi Deepak,
I am in the US, and therefore won't be able to claim the Kindle Book sent from India due to Amazon policies. That is why I had originally requested pdf/epub/mobi formats in my message.
I haven't clicked on the link yet, that way Amazon won't charge you unnecessarily, so hopefully that helps.
You may still send me a pdf copy, if you have it, to the same address. Hopefully it works out.
