Dale Lehman (dalelehman) | 1814 comments I've received from my artist 4 book cover options for my new SF novel, "The Belt." The story is set on Mars and in the asteroid belt. Please let me know which you prefer and why (if you know why). These links are to the images stored on my author website:

Thank you!

Michael Slavin | 9 comments #1 the red one. Looks great!

Valerie Sells | 50 comments I like #1 and #4, probably #4 slightly more, actually. The red denotes Mars to me, so makes more sense than the other shades. My one issue with #1 is it bugs me that the picture goes over the text, but that's just me being me.

Michael Slavin | 9 comments I couldn't see the difference between 1 and 4 until the comment by Valerie. But now I see the difference and I definitely like 1 better since it is brighter, and 4 is darker at the bottom half. I think the difference is so small that it should make no difference.
