just received an publicity email for this one with the header "stephen king recommends." of course, we all know uncle stevie would recommend a grocery list if he was asked & he's burned me in the past. this sounds interesting - is it REALLY worth picking up?

I read this book months ago, and the more I think about it, the more I love it. Easily one of the best books I've ever read. It's beautiful, immersive, strange, fast, and it touches on so many important issues.
Yes. It was worth the read. There are parts that are a little slow but its ultimately a satisfying story with substantial character development.
