Susanna Clarkes Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is a gothic/ realistic/ fantasy/ fairytale kind of book. It’s really lovely and haunting!
just finished neverwhere by neil gaiman, the author of coraline! a great book for fall / autumn vibes

I've got a Gothic shelf on here which you could also check out for some reading inspo. ^^

Oh yes I really loved The Silent Companions, I think all of Laura Purcell's Gothic novels are phenomenal!
Have you read Melmoth the Wanderer by Charles Marturin yet? :)
@rina.reads ooh no I haven’t but it’s been on my TBR for ages! Laura Purcell is an auto-buy author for me and, even though I wasn’t keen on The Shape of Darkness, I love all her other books. But Silent Companions was definitely the best
Shirley Jackson is an amazing author and has a great catalog. My favorites are, The Haunting of Hill House
We Have Always Lived in the Castle
The Lottery
My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du MaurierHere's my review for a taste of it:

I have a whole list 1. The Secret Life Of Laszlo, Count Dracula by Roderick Anscombe
2. I, Vampire by Michael Romkey
3. Punish The Sinners by John Saul (my favorite)
4. Phantom of the Opera (of course)
