2017 Reading Challenge discussion

I read this graphic memoir and watched the movie version of it to complete this category. I thought I was really going to like it as I am very interested in Muslim countries as well as the religion. I actually found myself very displeased with it due to the fact that I couldn't stand the main character Marjane. She was incredibly annoying, whining, and just went a long with what everyone else was doing at the time. I thought the first 30 pages or so was very interesting as it had to do with the revolution in Iran, after that though I was quite bored.
