Review Group discussion

Hi all. I've been approached by someone called Michael Evans for promotion of my latest book.

He has an online presence (Facebook and website as far as I can tell). He's offering a great promotional package and he seems legit. But one can never be certain when handing out $$$ to random strangers online.

Just wondering if anyone else has used him and could you give a testimonial?

I made use of Michael Evans 'Author's in Focus' group - and mostly, it is a group.

'Takeovers' and book giveaways on the Facebook page. Not sure how effective they were.


Book interviews on You-Tube (I couldn't do those because of baffling technical issues.) I did notice that many of the interviews had very low viewer numbers.

Weekly emails with links to various book sites, some of which otherwise might not have been available. Did eight or ten book interviews with these groups, answering various questionnaires.

Chatting back and forth with some of the other authors on Facebook is occasionally interesting.

Overall, a Author's in Focus can get you a jump up on making connections and offers some exposure, but you still end up doing a lot of work yourself.

I would recommend joining their FB group, mostly because it connects you with other authors and doesn't cost you anything.
