Our third classic read of 2023 is Skylark by Dezső Kosztolányi.

Apart from Carol, Carolien and E.D., who voted for this title, everybody else is of course invited to also share their thoughts!

What made you vote for this novel? What are your thoughts about this novel? The presentation of the character(s)? Would you recommend this title and if yes to what kind of reader and why? If not, why not?

Happy reading!

Dianne | 8 comments I didn't vote this round, but I will be joining this read, my book is arriving today! :) I enjoyed reading the reviews of the book and love that it seems to present a quiet and resilient view of humanity. I'm rooting for Skylark!

I am very interested in reading Dezső Kosztolányi as well. I voted for Kornél Esti as it sounded sinister and funny at the same time (right up my alley), but I might also join reading Skylark.
