1x1 Romance discussion

I was thinking something among the lines of an enemies to lovers arranged marriage of some sorts? Maybe two rival kingdoms, who's kids absolutely hate each other, get married to unite their kingdoms against some sort of threat? We could add a bit of action into it too. Slowly after they get married they could fall for each other?

Princess Krystal was up in her room looking at herself in the mirror making sure she was presentable. She was to meet her future husband, some prince, her father had arranged for her to marry along with his parents. She knew this was coming yet she wished it wasnt so soon, she hardly wanted to marry some random guy she didnt know.

Prince Oliver stared blandly at the polished wooden table before him, hardly paying attention to the people swirling around him making preparations for the newly engaged couple. He was slumped on a velvet settee, and while its plush material made him want to lay down and fall asleep, he also didn't want Henry to dump water on him. Again.

Krystal descended down the stairs, seeing the Prince in the other room. At least he was good looking, maybe it wouldn't be too bad. She walked over to the room he was in and gave him a graceful curtsey.

Oliver rose to meet the princess and dipped into a bow. "Your Highness," He said politely. He took her outstretched hand and planted a kiss on her knuckles. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He tried to infuse his voice with as much charm as possible, but he wasn't feeling it today.

Krystal let him keeping a small smile on her face. "The pleasure is all mine"

He dropped her hand, straightened, and met her eyes. Hardly realizing he was doing it, Oliver lapsed into polite small talk to avoid awkward silence. "The weather is nice today."

She stared at him for a moment. "Did you just use weather as small talk?" She asked smiling slightly

He hesitated. "...Yes? What would you prefer to talk about?"

She shrugged lightly. "Not the weather....."
