I like the 2 storylines I understand though.
I like the group of military women who are working together at the siite
The group blooms though. Breaks my heart but very realistic, I think. Society breaks down, commodities and bartering system changes and power roles also change. it's so depressing to think

the other story, about Rose. I'm not sure how she fits in. Is she the current 'agent' with the blooms? Or is she in the other group

Oof and poor Grant. What a lie he was sold. but he's sticking it out. I wonder if he will work with the girls to help them - or at least help the one to get whatever it is she's there for (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[wow, okay so Rose is definitely the girl at the camp. I'm finding all her previous powerful clients really yuckie but I'm glad she's put it all in perspective. it's so gross that Damien is using her so blatantly later. And the source he put her with is just awful. . .

and WOW! the White Alice camp - I wonder how they will get out of this safely. Can they really create a new spot or add themselves to another existing village and get away with it?

Is that what Grant? The barber or the other girl will find? Is that really what she's there for? (hide spoiler)]

I think this one wasn't as good to me because I took a big time break between reading the first 75 pages and then the rest of the book. I think it made it more confusing. . .

(view spoiler)[ this was interesting. I didn't see the twists coming at the end, although I did think Judith might be tied to the group. Interesting that Willow was too! and I didn't see the barber being a part of it either!

Meyer really lost it in the end. I'm sad he killed the barber and I'm glad those that got away did. Wonder if we'll see a book 2 with the chase for Daniel. . .? (hide spoiler)]
