United Methodist Women discussion

This is one of my favorites so far from this year's reading list. Jessica gives us an insider's view of how our aid money goes to work. She keeps a positive spin on it, in spite of the disorganization and inefficiencies that are bound to occur when outsiders move into what is already a crisis situation. She gives us a glimpse of what it's like to be on the front line, trying to maintain her emotional balance while struggling to get the aid where it's most needed without undermining the local economies.
