Hello! I think the passage from the gospel, portrays how much more Jesus values a human life and a human soul than the people of Gergesenes, who no doubt mirror people throughout time, throughout the world. The inhabitants of the Gergesenes were more concerned about the pigs, than the two people. I found it interesting how Billy Graham managed to extrapolate and suggest that it is not only other people in the modern times who value the souls of their fellow humans as less valuable than material goods, but that it is also ourselves who manage to make the accumulation of wealth or other time passings more of a priority than our relationship with God. Beyond this, I like how he pointed out how much demons detested hell, and what that should tell us about what it is like. I never would have thought of that.
The thing that stuck out to me the most was when Dr. Graham said, "there's nothing sadder than a wreck, but the saddest & most tragic wreck of all is the wreck of a human soul." I think that's going to stay with me for a very long time, because it's one of the truest things I've heard in awhile.
