3) Choose your road trip TUNES A: Classical

What’s a road trip without music? For classical, you may choose a book that is considered a classic. You might also pick a book like Every Note Played about a famous concert pianist, or a book about a character who composes or plays classical music. It may also be a book somehow referencing classical music or art on its cover or in the title, like The Mozart Code.

Here is the link for our Goodreads List, feel free to add your suggestions to it!

Michele Olson | 533 comments I'm reading The Mozart Code by Rachel McMillan. It takes place in post-WWII Vienna and is partly about a woman's search for Mozart's death mask.

Mary Sue | 144 comments I read Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay for this one. It is a historical fiction novel about a Russian classical ballerina who danced with The Bolshoi in the 1950’s and defected and ended up in Boston.

Aquaria | 291 comments Oscar Wilde – The Picture of Dorian Gray

If it had been earlier in the year, I would have picked The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb.
