I just finished Lessons in Chemistry. The pet, Six-Thirty, was my favorite character
I chose The Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa. Tiger the tabby isn't exactly a pet in the traditional sense, but it's a human and a cat interacting with each other, so I think that should count!
I read Lily and the Octopus, a book about a man and his dog Lily. It was funny, charming and sad. I have cats, but could totally relate to this magical realism story concerning the bond between a human and pet.
I read Dumb Witness, which happened to be my monthly Agatha Christie Challenge pick.
I read Dancing in my Nuddy pants by Louise Rennison
Katherine Porter - Ship of FoolsFor most of the book, I was rooting for a torpedo to sink the ship.
Only three characters weren't horrid:
Jenny.
The ship's resident cat.
And the pet dog of two very silly people.
