I read You Lucky Dog by Julia London, a romance that starts with a dog walker returning two basset hounds to the wrong homes. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2023...
I chose The Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa. Tiger the tabby isn't exactly a pet in the traditional sense, but it's a human and a cat interacting with each other, so I think that should count!
I read Lily and the Octopus, a book about a man and his dog Lily. It was funny, charming and sad. I have cats, but could totally relate to this magical realism story concerning the bond between a human and pet.
