As in, in the moment before you picked up your device to see what was happening in Goodreads. What were you reading? For me, it was Titan Comics Doctor Who, 11th Doctor #4. Not heavy reading, but it's late and I was in the mood for something light.

just finished the martian taking a break with some mad horror books so i can rested up and ready for Prudence Tuesday
Comics (The Uncanny Avengers), and JW Rinzler's Making of The Empire Strikes Back. I have been reading both this morning, bouncing back and forth between the two.
I'm reading a couple school books, a Literature Comprehension book (not for school), Faust by Goethe, and a bunch of other books. I also finished The Martian a couple days ago.
rod way of shadows is a great series! Read them a couple months ago and i became a fan of brent weeks. If enjoyed the books when you are finished I highly recommend his other series called Lightbringer, I liked it more than way of shadows.
A coworkers wife said the same thing. I'm currently listening to this series. I was reading a lot of comics but may pick up a book this afternoon. My to be read pile is way to large. Can't decks which book I want to start. I think I put a picture of my book shelves on the group Twitter page. I may have a problem
I listened as well thats how i consume pretty much all my books now. A warning: the narrator for the first lightbringer book is crappy but they change it for the rest of them.
There are times where it seems awfully echoey. I thought it odd since usually audible has good recordings.
Well I loved Divergent when I saw it HBO. So I went right into the 2nd book, Insurgent & I could not put it down. Never thought of YA novels before but as soon as I was done reading it I bought the 3rd book, Allegiant. Reading it when I can now because I've been super busy with other stuff.
Half the World by Joe Abercrombie. His second book in the shattered sea trilogy. Really like his First Law books this is his take at a YA series but he definitely pushes at the boundaries it doesn't feel YA at all. Enjoying it so far.
Clockwork Angels. Read by Neal Pert who wrote much of the album the book is based on. His voice is great!

Clockwork Angels looks good. I love Kevin J Anderson. And who doesn't love Rush? That would be a great book-of-the-month. Steve could even do a crossover with Rock out Loud.
I'm reading Champion by Marie Lu the last book of the Legend series. It has been great. I'm all about YA with The Mortal Instruments being my favorite series. I think this crowd (especially if you like Divergent) would LOVE the Shatter Me series by Taherah Mafi.
Just started my annual baseball book with "Ball Four" by Jim Bouton. I hadn't heard of this book until I watched netflix's "Battered Bastards of Baseball". Interesting book, and the documentary was great to watch.
I am now reading Ready Player One. I started before I saw the poll for June's book. So if it is chosen, I guess I'll be ahead.
Almost done reading Lev Grossman's Magician trilogy. I'm looking forward to what syfy has planned for the world of Fillory.
Trent I've read the magician trilogy its a nice mash up of harry potter and narnia with an adult flare I enjoyed it. But is syfy doing something with it?
Oh wow that's surprising. I would not have expected anyone to do a show about it. I can see how it could work as a series though. It will be interesting to see the workarounds, because it is a blatant rip off of Narnia with some pulls of harry potter.
Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay really loving it so far, I was looking for a solid stand alone fantasy novel and I got what I was looking for.
reading a hilarious half dozen http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/a-hil... $2.99 and since it's over a thousand pages and i'm a slow reader gonna take a while
Almost 75% through Sherlock Holmes (the complete novel and stories vol 1) and Honor Among Thieves. Now that I finished Ready Player One, gonna work on Sherlock. Really enjoy reading it and I can't help but think of Benedict Cumberbatch as I read it lol.
Reading Abracadaver by Laura Resnick book isn't bad but the cover implied the girl was a buffy type and she's not half way through and no violence yet.
I'm starting Kenobi, before I ready this months book. Any other suggested Star Wars reading? I have already read the Darth Bane series and I really enjoyed it. Pretty cool to see how the Sith started.
I have been reading H.P. Lovecraft short-stories lately. So late to the game, but he is really blowing my mind so far. What an imagination!
I am finishing Armada by Ernest Cline. So that we can review it on Geek Watch One. Excellent book so far. 30 pages to go
Reading Ariel (post apocalyptic), a stupid romance novel for the bathtub, Dark Force Rising (finally got around to Thrawn #2), Ready Player One (for here), Out of the Silent Planet (for here), and as always still trying to make headway on Wheel of time #6 because I JUST CANNOT DO IT. I am also mostly done reading a non-fiction about the genetic history of the British Isles.
