Waiting for a library copy. I didn’t finish the author’s first novel, Autonomous, but I’ve enjoyed a short story or two.
Welp my loan came in today and I’m about 5% in, so far I really like the science/tech aspect of the terraforming. Will share my others thoughts in the spoiler thread once I’ve read further.

Great! From a few reviews of our monthly reads (I usually don't check reviews in advance, but several appeared on my feed on GR) it seems that this book has a great start but fizzled-out finish, while Witch King is the opposite. I hope to check for myself soon

I've started the book and it is weird. As someone mentioned in attitudes a bit like The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, almost space fantasy... The very first encounter sets a lot of questions, which I'll write in a spoiler thread.
I do not enjoy the story even if formally it should hit a lot of my pleasure buttons

Great!
Great!
Finally got a copy, and its an interesting start. But after a hundred pages, I'm feeling there's some consistency problems, and that's bugging me.
Started the book. About 80 pages in, I’m not sure what to make of it. The tone seems odd. I’ll certainly continue with it.

It is great! Have you read her Nebula-nominated Autonomous? Because I haven't but it seems that the author is of love/hate type i.e. you either love her works or not...

I started but didn’t finish Autonomous, mainly because I had to take it back to the library and didn’t feel strongly enough to get it again. That was the author’s first novel and it wouldn’t be surprising if their books got better. If I end up liking The Terraformers enough I might go back and check it out again.
