Sci-fi romance?

Have you tried C J Cherryh? A lot of her books have an element of romance (though occasionally interspecies!), but one that is both space-based and involves a 'romance' is Merchanter's Luck.
There's a science fiction romance series that's not erotica by Tracey Cooper-Posey called "The Endurance." I've read most of them and liked them. It's set on a generation ship and the books skip around over the various years as situation on the vessel evolves.Greyson's Doom is the first book.
Linnea Sinclair also writes space novels with clean romance. She's really good, and the books are stand alone, so you don't have to worry about getting into a long series.Gabriel's Ghost
Finders Keepers
Do you like classic sci-fi in the space opera area? If so, you could consider A Stone In Heaven by Poul Anderson. Vintage 1979. This is a bittersweet one, both the romance and the story.
If you like a good muder mystery with your scifi romance I can recommend The Cold Between by Elizabeth Bonesteel. Plenty of action action, interesting characters.
The duology The Last Dance and The Last Campaign is so good that my husband and I both enjoyed it very much, though I'm more about Becky Chambers and he's more about Jack Reacher....
The Best of All Possible Worlds, by Karen Lord, has a slow burn romance and is an excellent overall story too.
Hi there dear Kayla,There is a wonderful author whom I can recommend to anybody interested in Sci-fi romance (mixed with genres of mystery, time travel, fantasy, time-travel, british literature, magical realism). The story leaves one with more happy tears than sad ones, and there is an abundance of raw humour. I laughed many times simply by reminiscing the scenes. I have read the book multiple times as have many of my friends. Romance is BIG in this story.
The author's name is Kevin Ansbro. Here's is a link to his page--->

The name of the book is "in the Shadow of Time." Here is the page--->

The author writes in the genre of magical realism but included sci-fi into this.
The story is about this (this is a bit from my review)--->
"Dr. Sofia Ustinova, one of the world’s leading physicists, long married to a hellish husband, has fallen for the most star-aligned gentleman—and former assassin—of England, Hugo Wilde. When a time machine is discovered in a cellar, they use it to start a new life in Mexico, and the veils of their sorrows start to lift in many unexpected ways."
Everyone who has read the book has loved it.
The author created a specific character called Pablo whose portion of the story draws tears out of me even if I only reminisce about it.
I even added this as a part of the review for it--->
Summing up->If the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, were suddenly inspired to courier me her Cartier Halo tiara, I would place it not on my head, but on Kevin Ansbro’s book, In the Shadow of Time
I guarantee anyone that they will find the book memorable!

New here, so forgive me if this is a redundant post.
I’m looking for some book req’s that as my topic title says are sci-fi romance based. When I search those keywords, I get results that feel like I just walked into my grandmas room and found her bookshelf full of romance novels with Fabio on the front, if you catch my drift ;)
I just finished “In the Quick” by Kate Hope Day and while was an okay read, entertaining enough, she introduced a romance about 3/4 into the book that was compelling and slightly sexy but I found myself disappointed when it came so late and ended so quick. I realized I wanted more.
I generally prefer space novels (like space missions gone wrong) so for example I recently enjoyed The Muderbot Diaries by Martha Wells and one of my favorite novels is The Forever War by Joe Haldeman.
As for protagonist, I’m okay if the POV is female, male, or even split and prefer m/f scenarios.
Can anyone help?
