The Cry of Dry Bones: a novel


Looking for ARC readers for my new novel, THE CRY OF DRY BONES, releasing this July 2023! The region and concept came from a Christian nonprofit that came to my church and shared about the mingi practice.

Set in the untouched regions of the Omo Valley, Tesfahun, a young tribal boy, flees the violent practices of his people and heads across the river into a harsh and unforgiving land. As he searches for identity and meaning, he encounters the thing he fears the most: himself.

Based on current tribal practices, THE CRY OF DRY BONES is a look at meaning, identity, and sacrifice.
